hey

hey everyone, haven't blogged for a while. Not much news to say, apart from the thrilling fact that no one now has anything to do! lol, as we have all finished our exams, and we have two months before we have to drown our sorrows (or celebrate joys... pah). Atm I am trying to sum up the courage to look for a job (another one, obviously, I'll stick at Colemans), I have had my job for three years and had totally forgotten how scary it is to go into some shop/pub and ask whether they have any work... I think its because I am a whoose, however, even so, its taking ages. I am determined in the next hour and a half to go to the George (the pub just up the road), and ask, (after an hour and a half I have a driving lesson), but I don't think I am going to, I keep coming up with excuses, but I have to get a job; I just can't afford not to.

So, apart from my job crisis; went out on tuesday with the 'gang', went for chinese, which was good, and then we went bowling; I haven't been bowling for years, and secretly hate it, but it was still fun, and I wasn't quite as bad as I remembered; although nearly; my score was 72. err, ooh, I have seen more of Mike; it's going well; yes we are still only "seeing each other" as opposed to going out, but we are getting closer (to going out, although obviously we are getting closer to each other as well? that sounds a bit weird...). Last tiem we met up we walked down the river in Peterborough, and came to this bench; it was the romantically cliched scene ever, not only was the bench inbetween two trees staring at the river, and the weather was nice, there were these little bits of fluff in the wind (from the trees, they clooked like dandelion seeds) and they literally continually danced past us in the lightest of breezes, and it looked like it was snowing without the rubbish temperatures, and it was really pretty. We laughed, it did look almost pathetically cliched, but it was still quite pretty. Not really much coming up; leavers dinner on Friday, I have eventually decided what dress I am going to wear (my pink one, that I wore for the sixth form revue). Sarah Coopers party on Saturday, still can't decided whether I am going to go or not... its Amy's as well; Amy has a sister Lucy, in my sister' year, and she has invited Jenny to be her friend to go with her... I'm not sure whether this is a good thing or a bad thing... Ooh, and Nick and Tom's birthday the Friday after, with Matt S after that, oh btw, tom, and anyone who cares, but it relates to a conversation we were having; if we do end up staying somewhere I can get a seven o'clock bus back to oundle in the morning! lol.

So, minus those exciting things, I am just looking for jobs and then hopefully working, if I ever go out looking for a job, let alone getting one. Well I hope everyone has an exciting holiday, I'm sure I'll be back blogging soon, oh, and joycee has a new mobile no. for anyone who he didn't manage to text... I'm obviusly not going to put it up; you'll have to ask him. Anyway, have fun everyone...

23rd June

I can't believe that it is only the 23rd of June, yesterday I had a bit of a mental lapse where i thought it was the 28th (don't ask), lol, so i wished Katie C a happy birthday (only via myspace), without realising that it wasn't the 28th; i thought it was strange, becuase we always get a birthday card from colemans, but I hadn't been asked to sign one... anyway, just to let everyone else know; its the 23rd today.

Apart from slight mental lapses nothing has really happened in the last couple of days. Err... can't quite remebered when i blogged last and whether i had done my connections exam; if not, then i think it went quite well. Err, had general studies which was fine; just really boring. Oh, i felt really bad, on wednesday cos after the exam we went to Jules', and mike texted me and wanted to meet up so i agreed and said he'd be in town in half an hour, i was half-way through a mug of tea and I really didn't want to go and meet him. Lol, but then i actually went and he was really nice and sweet, and I felt really terrible, lol and we went for a drink, walked by the river etc (I didn't tell him I hadn't wanted to meet him, obviously) and it was really nice. when he was little his younger bother and him also had guinea pigs, they named them; "redpig" and "blackpig", when he told me I had hysterics, and even writing it now, i am laughing as I speak.. ahh dear, lol.

Anyway... enough procrastinating, I should be doing theatre studies notes, yet am not, in any way shape or form. I feel really tired as I had to stay up late last night writing a practice genre studies exam so that my sister could hand it in today when she goes to school. After I had written it I went down to watch the last ten minutes of Lost, realised it was Thursday, not Tuesday, and then had an hours talk with my mum, when i was really tired... anyway... hope everyone else is doing more revision then me... have fun.

hey...

hey, feel I haven't blogged for a while, although not a great deal has happened (stu that does not mean you can just scan the rest of this article). My exams have all gone ok (i think), apart from English that was a total disaster, as I answered a question on the wrong section (question 11 instead of 4) and now I have lost 45 marks without doing anything, and the chance of me getting an A is possible, but very small. Connections this morning was good though, so atleast there is an upside.

Haven't done much else except revise, oh, I have seen Mike a few times. lol, all is going well; yes i'm still "seeing him", and we are not going out, although I suppose we are getting closer... (that sounds a bit dodgy, didn't mean it like that). He's very nice (and straight), and yeah, thats all there is to say really... he's coming to oundle on friday (no, not to my house Tom), lol, but it'll be fun to show him the sights, etc, the coffee tavern is very exciting after all! lol.

Anyway, I'll let everyone get back to their revision, we do have general studies tomorrow afterall! lol, goodluck to anyone that has exams...

woohoo, lol

Well, thought I should give everyone a quick (I'm meant to be revising), update on Thursday. Basically, wow, not having dated really at all, especially not in the last two years, nervous was my general feeling, but Mike is just the sweetest guy ever. I could say a thousand things I now know about him, but it wouldn't mean much to you and would take too long. Needless to say that I am continually smilling, and the only reason I am gutted is that I have to go to Manchester on Sunday to say goodbye to my Auntie (the one who is going to New Zealand), and so I can't see him again till Monday. I know this sounds kind of one-sided, although it seems that he is just, if not more, thrilled by our newly sprung relationship as I am. lol. Nothing else has really happened, but I have a driving lesson in 45 minutes! yay! and then i am going into town to hand in an english essay, which isn't that brill but has a great conclusion, then meeting people in Nero's for coffee at two, and the sun is shining! The world is good in general, and I hope everyone is having fun revising in the sunshine!

JUNE

just a quick post, had a flick thorugh my previous blogs, and realise that I have been writing May in the title, instead of June, I have now corrected myself... until next time...

12th May

Twicei nthe space of three days! I'm getting better, lol. Still haven't really done much though. Daniel was fine by the way, although he wouldn't get to sleep for ages. Then went dancing with my mum, which was really brill, we went to Flares, and it wasn't that busy, and we were about to go home about one-ish, and then i started dancing with this guy (I never dance with people, if anyone tries to come and dance with me, I pull my "you are scary and disgusting" face; ask me for a preview! but anyway... he had this really drunk friend that kept trying to dance with my mum and me (I?), (he dropped a bottle near my foot, and my foot ended up being cut (slightly)), anyway, the guy very kindly rescued me, we got dancing, swopped numbers and I'm going to see him on Thursday. Ooh, and I have been doing loads of driving with my mother! which is completely unheard of, not only have I been to the Haycock and back this weekend, but I also drove to Peterborough on Saturday night!

Haven't really done much else but revision, am trying to get myself to read Surfacing for the sixth time, but I am going to write notes in it first, so it is taking longer than expected. Haven't really seen anybody... although obviously this Saturday there will be a big group outing. Its come to that time of year again; The dean's garden party ( i wrote about this last time didn't i?) well, just to re-iterate, £5 a ticket, from the finance office, come, it'll be really brill.

I really think thats all the news I have, err, my eating pattern has been really weird lately, i think it's the heat, but I am just not hungry, at all, but I don't think that that can be healthy, so I making myself eat at lunchtimes, but I have like the smallest amount of food ever, and then I feel really full. Hopefully the imense heat will end soon, or there will be a wind. Anyway, good luck to everyone revising for english on wednesday (and all other exams too...).

10th may

hey, I feel as though I haven't posted for ages (mostly because I haven't), but not much has really happened, errrr. Well, obviously I have started my exams, and they are 'interesting', lol, well so far they have just been re-takes, so if I mess them up its not that important, but all the rest that I have to come I can't mess them up, so nervous would describe my mood. Haven't really seen many people, went for a bbq at andrena's last week, but I think that I have already said about that; my short skirt? This Saturday I am going dancing, with my mum! lol, because I am sad, and it is really fun, as no one else dances as crazily in public as me and my mother (it's a scary sight). Atm I am babysitting for a couple of my mum's friends, until half ten when we are going. It was our last day at Colemans todya before Greg joins, so we just ate and laughed, I have a couple of really funny vidoes on my camera, and photos, which I will try to send to Lucy and Katie, if I get a chance.

Oh,we had fun on Friday when we went to Nero's to celebrate Beth's birthday (I have photos from that too, if people want) and that was brill, err... apart from that though and the odd revision session I have stayed at home, been boring and revised, ooh, I have started on myspace though! lol, scheck me out if it appeals... its not very exciting at all. Oooh, and today at Colemans I bought some new sketchbooks as we were having a two for the price of three offer (which is still on, available at all branches! we also have three for two on pens, and pads, paints and paintbrushes, so pop in t5o your local branch!). So I think that I will sit here and draw, and wonder whether to go and see Daniel (the little boy I am babysitting, wait... he is now banging very loudly, so I htink I might!

hey

I know I haven't blogged for a while... Stu's was really good, lol, although it was quite a long time ago now, or so it seems. Not really much gossip or jokes to tell... well... saw some nice second-hand bookshops had a cream tea, went to a R.S. revision session, learnt how to differentiate (is that how you spell it?) swam, had a barbeque, err and just generally enjoyed ourselves, although Stu never invited Nick in the end, so I felt slightly bad, although not as bad as on wednesday, when we went to Ali's for a bbq and Nick was there and it was really obvious that we had gone somewhere altogether and he hadnt been invited; I felt really bad. Err, yeah so Wednesday was good... had fun, went to the Drapers afterwards and i went home on the seven bus, no thanks to Haggis, trying to trick me otherwise. ooh, that reminds me, congratulations to H and L, if you know what I mean then you'll understand, if you have no idea; I don't know whether its gone public yet. Err, didn't really do anything on Thursday apart from some theatre revision; I am doing the re-take and am going to write about the R+J production even if all the questions are wrong. Friday I went for a driving lesson and saw my dad, the first was v. good, the second was, as always, an event, lol, it was fine, and I got the sweetes, softest reindeer in the world, which he bought me when he went to Finland (its not real). Saturday went to work, then afterwards the weather was gorgeous and so went to Andrena's and had a bbq, which was really brill, apart from my clothes (if you were there you'll know what i mean) I was wearing, well, not quite enough. But i wasn't cold, surprisingly, and it meant that when I spilt tea down me, none of it spilt on my clothes! Everyone was generally jovial, minus Nick, who sat (literally) about 2 metres behind me and to the right, completely out of the circle, and was silent for roughly three hours. Weird. Slept over at Andrena's, we were going to camp, but whoosed out (the tent wasn't set up), and ended up on her bedroom floor, which was surprisingly comfortable, I slept till eleven the next morning, then after a cup of tea wet home. When I got home Kevin was there! so talked to him for a bit, slightly surreal, he's not as I remember him (Kevin btw, is my mums new guy, well, prospective guy). Then Kevin and mum went out to lunch, and I haven't really done much since. At the minute I am listening to Radio 1, and psyching myself up to do R.S. revision., so everyone have fun and revise lots!
