30th April

The last day of April today, this month has gone so quickly ,and now its about to be May! scary stuff. Had our last whole school assembly on friday, which i found personally quite disappointing, we sang Jerusalem, but the guy played a different accompaniament (I spelt that wrong) to usual, so it sounded weird, but we sang it afterwards with mr jenkins playing, which made it moderately better. The MP Steven Jackson came in and did an assembly on trade, afterwards there was a sixth form discussion which was fun, me and andrena had frees so we went along. He was such a typical politician, he wouldn't give you any figures you asked for (although a lot of statistics), and he contradicted himself blatantly at several different points. If I had to vote and I lived in the Peterborough constituency I would definitely not vote for him. lol, although the others are probably no better.

Didn't do much on Saturday at Colemans, it was really quiet we hardly made £850, but we pottered round doing odd jobs, did tuck shop - terrible happening - freddos have gone up to 15p!!! thats a 50% increase, can you believe it? its an outrage, and we are all shocked, the most terrible part of theis cadbury scheme is that they used to write 10p on the packets, but now that they have gone up to 15p, they have just left the packets blank, so it looks as though it is the shops fault. We all think that Cadburys will put the price down though; we used to go through six boxes of freddos a weeks, but since the price changed on a Thursday loads of people have been boycotting them, and so cadburys wont even sell two thirds of the amount that they usually do, which they would need to, to break even. Saturday evening we went to Watkins' and watched reservoir dogs, it was quite good, although also slightly disturbing, especially when the guy had his ear cut off, i thought it was really clever how the camera didn't show it straight after it had happened, cos you were waiting for it to be shown and it wasn't, if that makes sense. The sound track is quite brill too including one song that I have been trying to find for ages, argh, what was it called? "hooked on a feeling" i think - its really cool, they used it in Ally McBeal, lol.

Slept the night at Allie's and then went on the ten past ten, went home and revised a bit, before then coming back into town to have hot choclate with some people plus beth who couldn't make the previous night, it was fun. After coffee we went shopping for a bit and i realise that i really want new clothes and shoes (althoguh i would probably never wear the shoes..., anyway, so I have decided I am going clothes shopping on wednesday, perhaps, or it might just turn into shopping for a dress to wear to the leavers dinner. I wanted to wear my pink one (some might remeber it, it was the one I wore to do the sixth form revue in, and my eighteeenth birthday) but the material is quite heavy, its not really quite right, so I'll see what I can find; I also want a new skirt, so I'm sure my trip will be fun etc. Ooh, I'm gettign my haircut on Thursday as well, which I have been needing to do for ages. lol. Its all happening! lol.

Not much else has happened to me; update on Nick, I go through days of feeling he sucks and days where I still think that he's amazing (i try to focus on him sucking; obviously in the metaphorical sense of the word - why I'm not deleting that sentence is beyond me). Still can't find anyone else attractive, which is my major downfall, but I'm trying very hard, so you never know... lol, another update; everyone keeps being really rude to me, I have started to retalliate using rude words, it isn't like me, although what with that and taking bigt bites of my sandwhiches it lloks like I'm just a new person! lol. Hope everyone is well and is having a fun bank holiday weekend!!!
