fun times
So, left panto early to go and meet up with everyone to watch the gig, it was really fantastic, with everyone jumping up and down like loonies, altho i was really near the front, like the second row bakc, as soon as i have got the photos on my computer i'll stick them on here - some are really good, others are a bit naff. Gig finished, i bought a t-shirt (jack and ed had already bought t-shirts which was good, as they had been in the 'frenzy', and were literally dripping with sweat. We then went and had chips, then came home, talked, then went and played snooker, then went for a walk, then cam home and made sure ed and jack were comfortable - i have a really funny pic of them in bed; they top and tailed in an empty room. By this time it was half five, so went to bed, knackered, and the was woken up at half ten by Nick ringing. He sounded well, although not really happy, but talked to him for an hour, really looking forward to seeing him on friday.
Went back to sleep after we finshed on the phone, but was woken up by ed and jack at half one, got dressed and after more snooker we went and spent the day in town with everyone; pictures to follow, was very good though. Then at about seven we said goodbye to ed and jack and drove back home for tea. It was really weird saying goodbye to ed and jack, i have met so many people and its really weird saying goodbye to people all over again; i said i was looking forward to nick coming, and i am, but saying goodbye to him is going to be rubbish cos i wont see him for a month and a half after he leaves. It would almost be easier not seeing him, becuase then i wouldnt be reminded of how good it is with him. Even though i don't know ed and jack particularly well, i realised how much i missed people i actually know, knowing inside jokes and what people like etc... it was really strange and slightly disconserting. Anyway, matt (smith) is still here, he's seeing another friend in cardiff and at the moment everyone is on floor four, apart form me as i have panto and work to do tomorrow, so i am going to bed now, to try and get my body clock back to some normality - impossible i believe. lol, so anyway, now i am going to bed (nearly), but i am still having fun, although my foot isn't completely healed, and there is a marathon in cardiff tomorrow, so the roads are closed, and i might have to walk there and back ,which will not be good for my feet. But never mind, and i am eating so much at the moment, that a long walk will definitely not do me any harm; i am going to eat sensibly this week, or nick will come and wonder whether i have managed to consume whole supermarkets in the time i have been away, plus my budget starts on monday; argh. Lol, hope everyone is budgeting better than I!

woohoo
At the moment I am having the left over lamb in a sandwhich also with mint sauce; the nicest sandwhich i have had in a long time. Ooh, and i have found a guy that really reminds me of matt benaton, not only does he have crazy similar hair and personality, but the other night at the uni bar "the banana song" came on, and he loves it aswell, lol. Anyway, I will continue to tidy my room, as i imagine when ed and jack come down at some point i might want to brag about its size etc, lol. Everyone have fun...

hey
Had my first tutorial/seminar thing today, was a bit disappointing, i have never looked so much like a geek, mostly becuase i'd just bothered to read and make notes on all the reading we 'had' to do. Our tutor wasn't bothered at all though and even though these things are compulsory, he said he wouldn't report us if we didn't turn up for a couple. I did think of Andrena during it; he's italian and we were talking about the language we use in law and he said the phrase "latin is dead", lol. Yeah, so a bit disappointing, he didn't really push us, but i'm still going to work, as i still don't know all the stuff i wrote notes on, and i need good grades.
Err, can't really think of anything else to say, but i'll try and remeber to update tomorrow, when i find out about all my failures! lol. I am still having really good fun, hope everyone else is too,

hey
Also had a careers talk today, am getting worried about the fact i want to be a barrister and its so difficult to become one, apparently you should have all A's for A-level and even if I just cited my 2 A's and a B I am already behind! Never mind, but if anyone knows any barristers who enjoy giving work experience (and lets face it what barrister wouldn't - that was sarcasm), please let me know, apparently, work experience is the what everyone looks for, therefore we need some... anyway, having the most fab time ever... apart from the fact that i am just about to go and trial for the law netball team, i am rubbish, and i don't think that there are going to be any other freshers, but nevermind... anyway, i will tell you how it goes, hope everyone else is having a good as time as me! sary wary woo (soz, in a bit of a strange mood)

another written blog
Oh, something did happen (although it wasn't very exciting), I picked up (not meaning to) a random guy, who followed me orund al afternoon, he made me buy cheap bread, which would have been okay, but i didn't want any bread, I also got no dinner, as he said i should eat apples and cheese, at the time he had followed me to sainsburys, he didn't want anything, and had left his friend at the library to come with me, he told me about his life (a wannabe labour MP, does charity work for a Lithuanian school...), and he followed me to the IMG fayre, and wouldn't have joined anything had i asked him why he had bothered coming here if not to join somehting. I would have done anything to get rid of him politely, but i couldn't, so i just lumped it. He's coming to debate club on thursday, but i told him it was at 6:00pm, i just found out it starts at 8:00pm... oh dear, at least i'll never have to put up with him round town again!
Anyway, after that wonderful anecdote I should go, neighbours is nearly on (we meet up and watch it every day), and i also have to read and make notes on 60 pages of unknown law; interesting but long-winded, my notes are rubbish, too long winded. Speak to you later... hope everyone is having fun, today is the first day when I have started to want to see people that know me well, nm, lol, only a few weeks to wait before Nick and Jenny come up (not together, that would be weird), anyway, have fun...

hey, sorry, writing this one
I thought i would write, as it mean I can stick pictures of the wonderful roast dinner we had on Sunday (yes we were sad enough to take photos of it before we ate it), i had never cooked roast potatoes, but thanks to Andrena's brithday present I had several handy tips on how to do it, and they turned out amazing! (the random slice, is a cheese cake we made for dessert) (Thank you Andrena), ooh, and while we are updating the use on birthday presents; Tom, your DVD is the only one I have bought with me and consequently have watched it abut 6 times, luckily its very good, so I don't mind! Alex, I have unfortunately also had to use you b'day present, not that it is bad, but it has unfortunately rained, you'll also be pleased to hear that so far, I haven't left it behind anywhere!
Yesterday I had auditions, they went okay, the panto was really good, and I really wanted to do that, I had to do a load of characters, and then they had me do the same scene again but in a certain way, and they chose "disabled", so I was three disabled people, and it was surprisingly funny (if you weren't disabled), and minus the small worry that they will play it in public and I will have stuff thrown at me (It was filmed as one of the team wasn't at the audition), it is definitely my best chance of doing something, AMSND was not as good as I thought it would be, unfortunately the girl I did it with was rubbish, adn i spoke way too fast, but i'm thinking its probably better to do something new, only one more to do, tonight, if i can fit it in, if not, then i'll do it on thursday. So, err, haven't really done much, attended lectures, have begun to find stuff out about Law, its better than i thoguht it would be! today I spent £54 on two books, they better be good ones! lol, anyway, i will post this photos, and be done with it. Oh, yesterday I went to Tigertiger (club in Cardiff), which was quite good, I do have a photo of us, but i'll leave that for another time as it is on my phone, atm i have a cold (don't worry, its not a 'sarah' cold), but i'm tired and feel like rubbish and might have a nap now! (went to bed at half one, and woke up at 7:00 am). Anyway, have fun, i'll see you all soon...

picture from last night
Hey, just thought I should send you the picture from last night, as I said I would. From the left to the right; me, I look tubby in this photo, but it is just the fact that I am leaning forward, the biscuits haevn't been affecting me that much! Next to me is Jenn, she lives next door in room 39 and has a similar (but cooler) same taste in music as me, she is doing philosophy and is very nice, she is also going to the fratellis gig next month. Next to her is Nicola, she doesn't really drink, apparently she used to, and is just used to not doing so now, as she drives; she is getting her car up here this weekend, so we will no longer have to walk to the shops! She is doingEnglish lit (I think), and was head girl of her last school, she, like me, also doesn't like people squeezing too close on the dance floor, she also really likes dance music, and noodles. Rosie is the one on the end, she came on Saturday like me and is studying english and german, she also loves dance music and wants to go out and see famous DJ's (who i have never heard of), shes very well organised and very nice, she washed up my plate yesterday! I think that is all the relevant information I have on them. lol, everyone have fun.

26th?
We got back home and had toast and then went to bed as we had to go through enrolement today. Woke up, caught the bus, met a load of other people studying law etc and enroled massive queues, but ok. Came back ate lunch and now am reading and listening to the radio, all brill. Ooh, and Nick is coming to visit me, how exciting is that? He's coming on the weekend of the 19th of October for two nights! lol, am very happy, hope he likes Cardiff!
Anyway, am eating and reading so will keep you posted on everything some other time. Hope everyone else is having fun; keep in contact.

well i made it!
In the morning we woke up not too late, and then left at about 6:40, instead of 6:00, however, the traffic was brill and we made it to Cardiff in three and a half hours. Took half an hour to find my halls, but I did, and unpacked, went out for a disastrous lunch with my mum (the paninis were rubbish). Then came back, mum left I unpcked and then met people in the kitchen. I am in the tower, which has 9 floors, and i am on floor 3, and there are 9 people on a floor, although there are ten rooms... Anyway, everyone on my floor is erally nice, err, we are all girls and at the moment there are eight of us (we don't know whether its an empty room the other, or whether the person is just late (they should have arrived yesterday). I could give you a brief description of everyone, but will do so as stories unravel. We (as a floor) have also made friends with a few people on fourth floor, a couple on second floor, and a few on eighth floor. Everyone is really friendly, and I cannot say that i have met anyone that I wouldn't want to talk to etc.
The first night was a bit rubbish, me and this other girl called Rosie, who looks startlingly like Sarah Ainslie went out in Cardiff, we were aiming for the SU freshers party, but it was sold out, so we wandred into a few places, not doing much (although it took about 4 hours), and by midnight we were both so knackered (we'd both got up at half five that morning), that we went home, but we walked, and our halls, we worked out, are three miles from the city centre, so we were knackered, etc.
Yesterday, Sunday, we didn't do much during the day, I went with Chris (Saunders), who is on the fourth floor(!) to buy tickets for the fratellis, Jack and Ed are coming down from Bath, and we are all going to go on the 13th of October. However, there was no advertising for the gig and so although I knew I hadn't made it up, I still felt worried. We had to queue an hour for them, as everyone was queueing for tickets for another freshers party. However, that was the least of our worries, it was the hour walk there and back that took it out of us, and I was knackered by the time I got home.
We recovered, and in the evening everyone went to Creation, a club in the centre of Cardiff also holding a Freshers party. I went with Rosie (the girl from the night before) and Nicola and Jenn, who had just come that day. It was a really good night as there was every type of music, well kind of, and so everyone was happy. Btw, I don't dance as wildly in front of strangers, so I didn't scare anyone). The only bad thing was that it was really packed so all the time people were bumping into you, which was really irritating. When we first got there I was surprised at the lack of flirting, everyone just seemed to stay in their own groups, apart from male groups of second years who did the circuit introducing themselves to female groups of freshers. However, at about one (it lasted until three), there was suddenly a change and suddenly sleazy guys were doing what tey could to talk to you. We laughed at them and turned away, I guess it added to our entertainment. Luckily, at the ned of the night we got a Taxi back, and then talked in our kitchen for a bit. Sam and Kerry, who had stayed in (surprisingly they are the most crazy out of us), and had played Ker-plunk, Scrabble and Dream Phone. As I have mentioned most, I'll mention the pther two, Charlie, who has really long hair, and has a car, and Laura, who has very long (but tied up) synthetic dreads of bright blonde and electric blue. She talks about them quite a lot. Err, otehr people who have crossed my path; err, ooh, Sarah Waller is here as well as Chris Saunders, but she's not in tower accomodation. Err, on the fourth floor is a guy called Danny ,who is really Northern and studying Law, he's a bit weird, in a crazy kind of way, and also very loud, but he said that if I needed to I could borrow his A-level Law textooks, which was really sweet (that's why my mum wanted me to go to Leeds, as, apparently everyone is friendly). Err, I know others, but it seems pointless to just list names.
I would have blogged earlier but getting onto the internet was really iffy, I had to run the CD about 10 times, and each time took three hours; really rubbish, but I am here now! Not much to do today; vice president/chancellors speak tonight, and then a gathering at the SU. UNitl then, need to go out and get something for tea, but apart from that pretty laid back, although I have enrolment tomorrow, so can't be too much of a late night.
Hope everyone is having as much fun as I!

phewf
Anyway, went to coffee, which was to be our last trip with everyone there, as by the time Tom and Jules get back from holiday me, and Alex and Andrena will have already left for uni. It was good, and Nick joined us after a while (he was late as he'd been working), and we just sat and chatted. We all left, and I went to buy things from Waitrose, and Colemans and John Lewis. Then went back to Nick's for five mins before I went to catch my bus, so that i could get home and make flan before I went to the Colemans' leaving meal.
Made flan, which was fun, also made a separate, smaller flan for Nick, who refuses to believe I can cook, however, everyone says my flan is good, so I was willing to take the risk of eternal humilliation, lol. Finished making flan and writing cards for Liz and Joey, got ready and then realised it was already half seven, and i was meant to be there at half seven. By the time I got there, people had just begun there starters, and so i apologised profusely and sat down and ate. The food was wonderful, and after the first two courses Joey stood up and did a speech about us all, it was really brill, and we all got presents, I gave my cards and we all generally had fun and chatted and laughed. Everybody left a bit nippily at the end, me and Greg had to drain our teas to stop us from being left behind. Got home, and then went and picked up Jenny from her music trip at school and I got to drive back! Was fun, and I didn't crash!
Woke up the next morning for my last day at Colemans, Jenny decided she didn't want to go camping anymore as it was too much effort, so it meant that we had to phone everyone who was going to go, bit of a nightmare, but we don't know anyone who actually turned up, so it turned out okay. Walked down with Jenn to colemans, and preceeded to have a good day, taking lots of photos, well, apart from Leanne, who was really sick and surviving on virtually no sleep. When Liz came back at half three she took one look at her and took her home, she was so ill, we think it must have been some kind of food poisoning (hopefully not from the Colemans meal). Apparently Liz says that when they get the new hoover they will christen it Sarah! Bought way too much stationery at the end of the day, and then went home to tidy my room before Nick came. Managed to just about finish. Instead of going camping we took my sister to the Talbot for dinner to celebrate her birthday etc, she took loads of pictures, and we all had fun. Came back, had flan and was so tired that we all went to bed at half ten. Ah, ti was rteally funny (not that funny), quite alte at night, after we had gone to bed I heard a really weird beeping noise, three short beeps, and i was really confused about where it had come from, several possibilities arose in my mind, each of them even more ridiculous that the last, anyway, left it at that and went to sleep. The next morning woke, and after a while went had a shower etc. Glanced at my phone and realised it was my phone that had gone off, and I just had no idea what the message alert sounded like. For so many words, that story wasn't that funny, but nevermind.
Anyway, that just about brings me up to date, walked Nick to the bus stop this morning, as he has a "Pure" band practice, when Nick told Alex on Friday that he was in Pure, Alex stopped stock still, and said in a meaningful tone "do you realise how big this could be?", then she turned to me and repeated her comment, obviously she is quite excited! lol. Anyway, dropped him off, and then Mike texted asking when he could see me this week, I said apart from today I was really busy and so he replied by saying that that didn't matter he could come and see me today. So, its going to be an exciting afternoon...
Tomorrow I am seeing Andrena and Mike, and perhaps Alex and Mark, mostly so that Mike can fit a spare ethernet netword card into my computer, as he is very nice, and suitably knowledgeable, apparently its a piece of cake...? Anyway, will be having a fun week until Saturday/ Sunday when I go... looking forward to it, but i keep reading comments off myspace and msn names which say other people aren't enjoying it as much as they expected... nervous, but ready! lol.

15th September
Played and finished Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on the PS2 (obviously with Nick, I don't own any consoles and dont like killing things in case they kill me). It wasn't that brill, but for a 3+ game, surprisingly scary and difficult at times. Started to watch Sin City, surprisingly gory (Although as it was an 18 i suppose I shouldnt have been that surprised), but i had to leave for a contact lens appointment, so didnt have to endure the whole of it!
Have the last pseudo-coffee meeting today, as Jules and Tom are on holiday, unfortunately I forgot that Watkins' mobile broke, and cannot reach him, so he still doesn't know about it, but everyone else should, lol.
Not done much else, was meant to go dancing last night, but everyone was ill, so didn't go in the end, but tonight I have my Colemans leaving meal (there will be a tear in my eye), I have decided that i am going to make a chocolate flan for work tomorrow! And have to look out for a present for Joey and Liz/Colemans, etc, i think I might just get a range of really nice cards.
I now have to go and ring Sacrewell for my sister, as she has her birthday this Saturday (I'm going too, and if anyone wants to come, feel free, and invite everyone, but tell me first). Anyway, have to go and ring, everyone have fun...

- Everything that included laughing, or having a good time...
Anyone with anyother suggestions, comment them and I will add them in, we should all get together and write a list of the best bits, like we did with all our other holidays, ahh well, never mind.
So apart from the holiday I haven't done much, been driving, I have my test next thursday, I might pass, perhaps... I have seen a lot of Nick recently, which has been good, spent the last ocuple of nights at his. He's started work, and is doing fast track A-level physics, so is busy-ish. Been shopping and bought a new top, which I really like (I wore it on Tues). Went to the Met on tues, and saw a load of people, it was good. Nick didn't come, as he had been invited by his dad for a curry, so met him afterwards to walk home with him and siblings and siblings partners, which was fun (they were all a bit tipsy).
SInce then haven't done much, apart form try and organise my sisters birthday party, I am supervising it, and so am inviting anyone who wants to go to sacrewell farm on Saturday night from 7 onwards, if you can only turn up late, do so anyway (I know matt lowes party is also on), but turn up and make the night more bearable and fun, but tell me before you turn up to make sure we have enough space in tents etc, bring anyone you want, well, nearly anyone! lol.
Hope to see a few people there, but if not then I will see people around, I'll try and keep blogging while at uni, so watch this space! (Now I have to go and read my previous blogs as apparently joycee has commented on them!)
Everyone have a brill end of summer!

hey
Today I helped my mum sell at some craft fair, it was ok, I went through phases, I stayed at Matt's yesterday and so am now knackered (much more so than usual when i have only had five and a half hours sleep). Craft fair was good but it meant I couldn't sleep and the only thing i had to eat until tea wascake, as it was the only thing they sold at the craft fair, so basically I am fat and poor, lol, at least i won't have to afford food when I go to uni.
Trying to sum up the energy to invite people for coffee tomorrow after yet another driving lesson. I think i will phone them now, on my new phone! (Don't worry, I am still on the same number, lol). Anyway, hope everyone has fun, oh and if anyone has the address of where we are staying at the lakes can you e-mail ed with it, thanks.

heloo
Went to the dentists on thursday (yes, i am re-living time backwards), it was a new one in St Ives, she said my teeth were fien and I don't have to go back for a year ( I have, however, (those three words took me ages to type as I missed out the commas and then had to morally debate with myself whether I should go back and put them in, as you can see, I decided to) filled my mouth with e-numbered jelly sweets so will have to have fillings next time)
My mother has just come back early from her party, so willl have to save my ramblings till next time, hope everyone is having fun!

woo, cardiff here i come
I haven't really done much since I got results, on the day, we went to Jules' after, and ate biscuits cooked by her sister, and drank champagne from Tom's dad, which was very nice, then went to the Drapers for literally 3 minutes, to say a quick hi, as I was going shopping in town. Bought a new pair of jeans and then went home, to change and have coffee with my mother and go back into town to visit Nick, he is having a gap year as he didn't get into Med school, but he seems quite happy about it. Saw him for a bit, and then we went to Alex's. From there we went to "Ask" for a meal with quite a few other people and although the food took a while it was very nice. For the first time ever I didn't have pizza while I was there, or pudding for that matter (although not by choice), after that we went back to the Draper's Arms and then from there me, Alex and my mum went to Chicagos. We had the best time ever, lol, it was so funny, and there was this one guy who was really good at dancing; he danced with everyone and swung one lady around quite a lot, she looked slightly terrified, lol, but he was very entertaining to watch (and to dance with occaisionally, lol).
Yesterday I tried to go to work in Archies, but they sent me home after two hours as it was really quiet, I am working there tomorrow as well, but I wish they would send my home early then too. Its not that I don't enjoy it, but I don't know what to do, so I feel everyone gets annoyed with me, and I don't know the prices of anything, I'm not used to being the less experienced one, and its not something I particularly look forward to, and I don't seem to be getting any better, still, practice makes perfect.
Today I worked at Colemans, and was knackered as I spent the day yesterday also painting the kitchen, which was good, although now my back feels like it has broken. The day went really quickly with highlights such as being told how to play the "worm game", fun to wathc but not to play, and getting a box of chocolates, and then finding out that they were dark chocolates (I'm going to give them to Nick, lol), apparently there were three boxes of milk, obviously three for the Saturday staff, but all the big ladies took them (big as in old, not fat)l so me and Katie were really annoyed, as we don't eat milk chocolate.
Anyway, am home at the moment, not doing very much as I had to be home tonight as my mum has gone out and doesn't want my sis to be alone as she has only just got back from holiday, she is singing very loudly, I hope she stops soon!
Everything in general is well, not really much news, lol, Mike texted about my results and I told him, he was pleased and is now on holiday! Hope everybody got good results, etc, and they are all doing whatever they want next year. Have fun.

hey
Apart from being on holiday I haven't really done much. I have been to work, and had wonderful times at both. I worked with Joey on Saturday the MD and she said that she was going to put my two weeks of sick leave on my next wage packet as she felt so bad as the injury was caused while I was at the Colemans fun day! so that was all brill. Err, I have seen Nick a few times, we tried to give blood yesterday, but I got the dates wrong, and we weren't meant to go until next Tuesday, but I didn't realise until we had walked all the way there! lol, I felt quite stupid.
Waiting for results tomorrow, don't have much hope, lol, but either way we are going out and celebrating tomorrow night, if anyone wants to join us we will be at Flares from about 11, lol.
Mike has texted me a couple of times, lol, I think he's still hopeful, I told him that I'd tell him my grades tomorrow and he has just texted me to tell me what time he finishes work so that i can ring him, i think that i will just text him instead, lol.
Ooh, I am being allowed to drive into Peterborough to collect my results tomorrow! lol, exciting stuff, and it means we wont get there that early, lol, although I am aiming for ten o'clock, so that i can get in the queue early enough.
Well, i am dure i will see a collection of people tomorrow, good luck, and congratulations or commiserations if i do not see you... phew, at least it will be over soon. oh, btw ,hope joycees party was good on saturday? lol, obviously we couldn't go ( i say we, i mean me and alex)

hey everyone
Not done much, working at Archies tonight, and going on holiday tomorrow, just for the weekend but am back on monday night, in plenty of time for results. Oh god, results, I am not looking forward to them, but I suppose it could be worse, at least there is such a place as clearing. lol. Anyway, I refuse to think about them any more. Really want to go and see a live comedian, someone like Bell Bailey or Ardal O'hanlon, so am spending my days looking for someone before i go to uni, who is performing reasonably locally, so far nothing, but i keep hoping.
Not doing much else, but looking forward to holidaysing! hope everyone has fun

helloo
I also broke up with Mike (at last), it was the best break up i have ever had. We both left happy, well, obviously he didn't leave thrilled, but he said that he understood, and that I had to go off and go to uni ( i said there wasn't enough space in my life for anything apart from exams results, then clearing then uni etc etc). He said that if I ever had enough space that I should call him, and that we should definitely meet up together again, even if it was just as friends, and he made me promise I would tell him about my results, etc. He is so nice, lol, but nevermind, we must go on.
Oooh, Jenny (my sis), got the job at Colemans, and she will carry on from where i left off, how exciting is that, we went out to celebrate on friday (I day we, it was meant to be me, my mum and my sis, but in the end we ended up inviting Nick aswell, long story, but it was really brill).
I worked at Colemans yesterday for the first time in three weeks, it was really good, we had to produce slogans advertising our tuck shop, the best few were; "our tuck shop; its tucktastic", and "tasty treats to sweeten up your week at Coleman's tuck shop". So if you're in Oundle in the next few weeks walk past Colemans and you'll see the final choices in the window.
I have done lots of little things but not really anything to write about; I have bought the coolest hat ever, in the sale, I ended up getting 93% off a hat in accessorize, i was meant to be getting 70% off but I ended up getting more and i wasn't going to argue. I am going to see Julia today, I had to do lots of persuading but Tom's away so she didn't have any excuse, lol, but it should be fun.
At the moment I am very happy, lol, just in general, although quite poor, as I haven't been working for ages. I don't really have many plans for the week ahead, going to the cinema with Nick tomorrow to see "break up", lol, ironic, but apart from that am hoping to work and then next weekend I am going to worthing with Alex and Jules (Andrena's seeing her nan), just for the weekend, although it will mean that I miss Joycee's party at the weekend; have fun! Anyway, I suppose I should let people get back to whatever they are doing. I will no doubt update my blog if anything exciting happens, and failing that, prob next week, when i come back from holiday ( i'm back late on monday).
Hope everyone is having as brill a time as I am!!!! Have fun

another leg update
Mike has been so sweet these last couple of days; he came over to see me yesterday, and ended up buying tea for me and my sister (and him), and preparing it and he just sat with me all evening (we couldn't go anywhere, as i have been immobilised). He came around today as well, and just again sat with me generally being nice. We went to the doctors, and left him behind saying that we would only be ten minutes, and didn't arrive back for an hour, however, he didn't seem bothered about it, he just wanted to make sure i was still okay. Maybe Julia's right and I do have really low expectations, but i think that that is just so sweet. I don't think i like him as much as he deserves... he said he'd come and see me tomorrow.
More updates to follow, i literally haven't done anything else as I have to rest my leg, any invitations to come over and drink tea with me, or to just phone and have a chat would be welcome, only if i know you though... or that would be weird, plus you wouldn't have my number... anyway, i am sitting at home feeling sorry for myself! hope everyone ish aving more fun in their holidays than me.

haven't posted for a while
Friday, I was so busy doing a million things. Pete has a new gear stick, and its fantastic, I had a driving lesson, and it was completely brill. Err... ran around like a loon most of the day, Mike rang to see if we could meet up and i couldn't, lol. Had dinner with my dad and jenn before they went off to my granddads 80th, and then went to Alex's. From there we travelled to Mark's house, and then to Tom's for his and Nick's birthday thing. It was really brill, we sat round, ate mexican and laughed basically. In the end it was just me alex jules andrena tom nick mark and daniel as everyone else was ill (ali came for about 15 mins), lol. There's not much else to say really; ooh, Nick has had his hair cut! It looks soo much better now, he also gel/waxes it or something and it looks so much more normal, its taken way too long for him to get a normal hair cut, but i think we are all pleased (well those of us who care... ). In the end I got Tom a book and Nick a £10 voucher for virgin. The book was something that Tom wanted (I think), and I realise Nick's present was a bit lame, but I couldn't think of anything else that wasn't oohey. Oh, and I managed to buy Nick the same birthday card as Bob, lol, I was impressed.
Saturday, Lucy's last day, so there was not much work and a lot of cake and good wishes. It was really brill, in the way that we all had fun and did exciting things. I can't believe she's actually left; its going to be so weird next saturday. I was shattered from last night, as I spent the night at Alex's, went to bed at about quarter past two and woke up at seven. However, I was quite awake at the end of work, so I spent a couple of hours with Mike after work and then Andrena picked me up and we went to Matt's party. It was really brill, although I felt really bad as I had left his present behind at Colemans (I wont say what it was as I haven't given it to him yet, but its quite cool). I ended up staying overnight, which would have been fine, apart from Watkins being sick on Matt's floor. I'm really funny about sick, it makes me feel really queasy; i don't think I can ever have children for this reason, but i'm hoping that some kind of maternal instinct will kick in so that i'll be okay.
On Sunday I didn't really do much, apart from see Mike, he was so sweet, my mum and sister came back and not only did he put up with hearing my mother's divorce story, but also an interrogation by my sister with such questions including "the navy; is that the plane one?". It was interesting... lol, nah it was vwery fun.
Anyway, that has been my weekend, hope everyone else is having fun!

4th july?
haven't done much in a way, i had the leavers service and dinner, which was really good, not much to say apart from now that we have left its a bit scary; see toms blog for bigger details of the actual event. lol. Err, if anyone wants photos of the event comment me, and i will e-mail them to you, i have finally worked out how to compress them all into one e-mail, which is more exciting than you can imagine. Ooh, I have started knitting again, just making a small scarf, but the wool is quite exciting.
Yesterday I got a job! I now also work at Archies the wine bar in oundle, which is very exciting, I went and asked yesterday an they were short staffed that day, so I started within the hour, lol, its perfect as it means that i have a bit of extra money and my mum is off my back! yay!
Haven't done much apart from get a job; I've seen quite a bit of Mike, but he's moving up to Oakham this week (from whittering), and so he is busy packing etc, but it is going well. Yesterday I saw Alex, I feel that I haven't seen anyone for ages, even though it has only been a few days. We just went for a drink in the Drapers Arms, but it was nice, she's going to Cromer today so she left early this morining and I ended up sleeping at hers till about ten, much to her mother's horror I am sure, lol, but it was good, we caught up, although we still haven't been tp play pool, i am feeling left out! lol.
I think that that is all my news for now, I will see people probably on friday or saturday, and i'm sure someone (me) will arrange coffee or something for the week after, hope everyone is having a good holiday!! No more work, well, not school work! Have fun

hey
So, apart from my job crisis; went out on tuesday with the 'gang', went for chinese, which was good, and then we went bowling; I haven't been bowling for years, and secretly hate it, but it was still fun, and I wasn't quite as bad as I remembered; although nearly; my score was 72. err, ooh, I have seen more of Mike; it's going well; yes we are still only "seeing each other" as opposed to going out, but we are getting closer (to going out, although obviously we are getting closer to each other as well? that sounds a bit weird...). Last tiem we met up we walked down the river in Peterborough, and came to this bench; it was the romantically cliched scene ever, not only was the bench inbetween two trees staring at the river, and the weather was nice, there were these little bits of fluff in the wind (from the trees, they clooked like dandelion seeds) and they literally continually danced past us in the lightest of breezes, and it looked like it was snowing without the rubbish temperatures, and it was really pretty. We laughed, it did look almost pathetically cliched, but it was still quite pretty. Not really much coming up; leavers dinner on Friday, I have eventually decided what dress I am going to wear (my pink one, that I wore for the sixth form revue). Sarah Coopers party on Saturday, still can't decided whether I am going to go or not... its Amy's as well; Amy has a sister Lucy, in my sister' year, and she has invited Jenny to be her friend to go with her... I'm not sure whether this is a good thing or a bad thing... Ooh, and Nick and Tom's birthday the Friday after, with Matt S after that, oh btw, tom, and anyone who cares, but it relates to a conversation we were having; if we do end up staying somewhere I can get a seven o'clock bus back to oundle in the morning! lol.
So, minus those exciting things, I am just looking for jobs and then hopefully working, if I ever go out looking for a job, let alone getting one. Well I hope everyone has an exciting holiday, I'm sure I'll be back blogging soon, oh, and joycee has a new mobile no. for anyone who he didn't manage to text... I'm obviusly not going to put it up; you'll have to ask him. Anyway, have fun everyone...

23rd June
Apart from slight mental lapses nothing has really happened in the last couple of days. Err... can't quite remebered when i blogged last and whether i had done my connections exam; if not, then i think it went quite well. Err, had general studies which was fine; just really boring. Oh, i felt really bad, on wednesday cos after the exam we went to Jules', and mike texted me and wanted to meet up so i agreed and said he'd be in town in half an hour, i was half-way through a mug of tea and I really didn't want to go and meet him. Lol, but then i actually went and he was really nice and sweet, and I felt really terrible, lol and we went for a drink, walked by the river etc (I didn't tell him I hadn't wanted to meet him, obviously) and it was really nice. when he was little his younger bother and him also had guinea pigs, they named them; "redpig" and "blackpig", when he told me I had hysterics, and even writing it now, i am laughing as I speak.. ahh dear, lol.
Anyway... enough procrastinating, I should be doing theatre studies notes, yet am not, in any way shape or form. I feel really tired as I had to stay up late last night writing a practice genre studies exam so that my sister could hand it in today when she goes to school. After I had written it I went down to watch the last ten minutes of Lost, realised it was Thursday, not Tuesday, and then had an hours talk with my mum, when i was really tired... anyway... hope everyone else is doing more revision then me... have fun.
Wednesday, June 21, 2006
hey...
Haven't done much else except revise, oh, I have seen Mike a few times. lol, all is going well; yes i'm still "seeing him", and we are not going out, although I suppose we are getting closer... (that sounds a bit dodgy, didn't mean it like that). He's very nice (and straight), and yeah, thats all there is to say really... he's coming to oundle on friday (no, not to my house Tom), lol, but it'll be fun to show him the sights, etc, the coffee tavern is very exciting after all! lol.
Anyway, I'll let everyone get back to their revision, we do have general studies tomorrow afterall! lol, goodluck to anyone that has exams...

JUNE
12th May
Haven't really done much else but revision, am trying to get myself to read Surfacing for the sixth time, but I am going to write notes in it first, so it is taking longer than expected. Haven't really seen anybody... although obviously this Saturday there will be a big group outing. Its come to that time of year again; The dean's garden party ( i wrote about this last time didn't i?) well, just to re-iterate, £5 a ticket, from the finance office, come, it'll be really brill.
I really think thats all the news I have, err, my eating pattern has been really weird lately, i think it's the heat, but I am just not hungry, at all, but I don't think that that can be healthy, so I making myself eat at lunchtimes, but I have like the smallest amount of food ever, and then I feel really full. Hopefully the imense heat will end soon, or there will be a wind. Anyway, good luck to everyone revising for english on wednesday (and all other exams too...).

10th may
Oh,we had fun on Friday when we went to Nero's to celebrate Beth's birthday (I have photos from that too, if people want) and that was brill, err... apart from that though and the odd revision session I have stayed at home, been boring and revised, ooh, I have started on myspace though! lol, scheck me out if it appeals... its not very exciting at all. Oooh, and today at Colemans I bought some new sketchbooks as we were having a two for the price of three offer (which is still on, available at all branches! we also have three for two on pens, and pads, paints and paintbrushes, so pop in t5o your local branch!). So I think that I will sit here and draw, and wonder whether to go and see Daniel (the little boy I am babysitting, wait... he is now banging very loudly, so I htink I might!

11th May
In school news, we found out who all the senior people were, lol, thrilled about head girl, lol, and not really going to comment, as anything i say could be taken the wrong way, lol. I bought some voile after school and put it on my window, so I can now have it open ( I say can, i mean have to, as there is no way of closing the window unless i remove some of the tape i put it up there with (was going to do it with velcro stuff but couldn't be bothered to walk to oundle and back just to buy velcro)) so thats brill, as the bugs and more importantly, daddy long legs wont get in.
Did the stupidest thing, watched Holleyoaks after the Simpsons, and all the stories were really depressing; some babysitters killed a baby and some drunk girl was thrown out of her house, there were also two people that decided to run away as they were in love, but one was married, how depressing is that; does nothing ever happy happen on tv?
Atm I am procrastinating from doing my english genre studies, which i really don't want to do, but nevertheless I will begin shortly. Overall, had an okay day, ooh, had last debate club ever, it was fun, and i'll miss it, kind of, lol. Never mind.

joyce the hunk
Not much has happened today, did that stupid uni que test although i was late, as the bus broke down. It would not have been that annoying, but the reason that it broke down was becuase it hadn't been filled with petrol the night before, becuase the guy had forgotten. We had to sit for forty minutes waiting for a van to come with the petrol in it. It was tedious and frustrating, so I ended up getting to school and five past nine.
Anyway, apart from that mishap, the test lasted until break, then had re then went to Alex's garden for wednesday afternoon, before going home on the bus. Went for milkshakes with my sister, and then home. The weather has been completely gorgeous, but apart from that the day has been kind of crap, haven't really spoken to anyone, and haven't had registration, well we havem, but i missed it. And the more people smile the more frustrated i become, i sware im going mad, well, not actually mad, but alot more crazy than usual. I need to go out, I was going to arrange dancing on saturday, but i dont even feel like going out on saturday (i go out every saturday usually, and cannot remeber the last time i stayed in on one). Can someone arrange something and make me come? thanks, lol, or not as the case may be, lol, soz i'm not very perky today, i'll try again tomorrow.

9th May
Today, however, I did very little, a test in RE, read during critical thinking, and didn't do much during my free. Haggis invented the laughing game; if you laugh then he sleeps with you, if you don't then he jumps off a tall building. I'm not sure that there are any winners in that game! lol. Ddidn't do anything in theatre studies or lunch except laugh (I'd like to point out here that I did not join in the laughing game so it didn't matter that I laughed, lol). Then came home, and am procrastinating so that I don't have to write an English essay. lol, well thats about all for now - lol, don't ask about anything to do with Nick - you don't want to know the answer, all I can say is that I am working on my feelings, and they definitely need working on!
Sunday, May 7, 2006
7th May
Saturday = Colemans, Leanne was in, and so we did no work but had a lot of fun, until about three o'clock, when I suddenly just wanted to sleep, I have never felt that dreadful at work, even when I haven't gone to bed until three, I don't know why I was soo tired, but I was and it hurt. lol. Don't really have any thrilling stories to tell, apart from a man proposing to whisk me oof to Beans in the near future (I might add that the man is in his late forties at least, and was the musical director of the pantomime that I did, and so knows me quite well - it doesn't make it quite so exciting!)
Saturday evening everyone was busy apart from me watkins and alex (well, nick wasn't very busy, but said that it didn't sound very good, and he'd be better off working). So we went to Watkins house and talked really, until half eleven, when I was half asleep, went back to Alex's and I must have been asleep by Midnight.
This morning, woke up, eventually left to get the ten past eleven, and met my mum while I was walking to the Bus station going to church, lol, which was nice, nearly joined her, but decided I should realy work ,as it is only two weeks and two days until my first exam. Anyway... here I am now.
Extra bits; I have started reading Wild Swans (Tom made me a library card, and got out the book for me!), its really brill, and I am trying not to just read it, but do other things as well, such as work (although at the moment I am procrastinating quite well). Oh, and I am not over Nick at all, but stuck between two planes, either people talk about him all the time and make jokes about us, and I can't get him out my mind. Or, we hardly mention him at all, and then I dream about him at night(duh, opposed to during the day?), right now, I am prefering to talk about him during the day, it is less emotional. lol, so when you see me, mention him, lol, that was a joke, don't really, I'll get really annoyed! lol. Anway, until next time...

3rd of May
Haven't really done much else as I got the late bus back, but I have got lots to do, so I shall leave you with that quick update, and hope that everyone has had a day that is as good as mine.
