A bit of a while...
Hey, its been a while, this is a short post as I mean to be revising, as I have my exams and am terrified about them... I'm sure it will be fine, kind of. Anyway, although I may notbe coming back to blogging llife properly, I have now signed up to twitter, so you can learn what I am doing all the time - I think you're going to be disappointed honestly, but nevermind. woah, it worked, my blog is back on, with only 5 months in the lurch! (not many at all). Actually this is probably not a good time to start narrating my life again as it is so cushy at the moment. Over the summer I have got a job at an insurance company in the admin section, it is very boring, but all the ladies who work there too are very nice (all slightly tubby and rather short). They also all seem to be divorced (although sometimes re-married), which is slightly worrying. Kai is staying with me too, he has a job as well, although my most exciting news at the moment is that I own a cat, called Toby, I may even go so far as to put a picture of him up, if I get a nice one. He is a kitten and I rescued him from Kai's work as he had a very bad cold which was getting worse, and all his eyes and nose were running, but, I took him to the vets, made him better and now he lives with me. Hopefully I'll be able to take him to Cardiff with me and have written to my landlord asking...
Nothing else has really happened. It is my birthday in a couple of weeks (to the day), and I also finish work in a week and a half! (Not that I am looking forward to it too much!) Thats about it atm, I am going to go for coffee with Tom and Jules tomz who have been in Nepal and India respectively! Its all very exciting!

Hey guys, realising i am surprising you once mroe with my punctuality!
Well I finally finished my coursework and now just have revision and another essay to do (although this one isn't worth any marks (thankgod)). So life is pretty brill atm, although i have had an hours sleep as the internet thing wasn't working that i had to submit my essay on and i couldn't go to sleep until i'd sent it, cos i thought i might sleep through my alarm and miss the deadline, so it took me until 9:30 in the morning! Rather that than the alternative though; one of my friends didn't get it in on time, 21 minutes late, had to attend a disciplinary hearing and can only get 40% (the pass rate) for his essay.
Anyway, apart from that haven't been doing much, went shopping today, I'm looking for a nice dress to wear when i go home, something informal but nice. Didn't find anything but decided that I'm going to go to the english and philosophy ball in feb, which will be nice. Went into Boots and got loads of free stuff via various special offers and the niceness of the retail women, so was thrilled about that. Ooh, when I go home I have to remeber to take my dresses with me and i know i'm going to forget, but nevermind.
Spoke to Nick today, am making an effort to ring him everyday in case it gets better. But he's just continually tired and doesn't want to put in the effort which is a bit off-putting. So atm its not looking good, but it can all change in 10 days.

so soon you ask?
I know it has only been a couple days, not much has happened, but i am bored and happily procrastinating. I have been stuck in Cardiff without any flat mates for several days now and am greatly looking forward to tomorrow, when they all return. I have finished a rough version of my essay, which is good, as its in for Monday. Apart from that I have just been watching rubbish tv shows over the internet, mainly desperate housewives, friends and sex in the city, plus a couple of films. Anything to get off having to actually do work. Plus I think I should make more of an effort not to eat rubbish and am trying to put myself off going and making meringues, so far i have put it off for three hours; i'm doing well.
My life is good atm, and I have made an ultimatum to myself about Nick, at the moment we are good sometimes but not others. I'm going home on the 19th, so will dress up, take him out for a meal, and if he is happy, i.e. is putting in effort becuase i am then we will continue for the time being, if he's moody then thats it. Well, nm; least said soonest mended. Hope everyone else is having a more fun time than i, until tomorrow at least, see you all soon, yes, this term i will try and do the rounds, watch out! sar x

i know its been ages
Sorry guys, i know it has been an absolute age since i last blogged. I have done several on my camera and just not posted them. I cannot do another now as I am in my pyjamas, and so you will just have to make do with words instead!
I realise there is a great deal that I have not typed about, so I will start with Nick's last trip and the panto and then carry on from there, although hopefully reasonably quickly, before moving onto the last night of cardiff, the train the next day and then the christmas holidays (wow i sound like i'm debating)
First things first, at the beginning of December (way back), Nick came down, as he had an interview at Bristol, it was very nice, he liked it, although he liked Cardiff more apparently (although i'm not sure if he wasn't swayed by the people in Cardiff), so we have to talk about where he wants to go next year, I say we, obviously he can make up his own mind (sometimes). It was a shame him being down though, as I was so busy, trying to do a zillion things including the pantomime! JAck and his Giant Beanstalk, although a long time ago was a huge success, we sold out every night, everyone laughed at me, and no one thought that i was rude (or anybody else for that matter). All in all it was brill, apart from the last night (it still haunts me) when the crew played pranks on us, basically there was a dildo on stage in every scene, this wasn't a problem for me until the last scene, where as Andrena will know (she came to watch it), I (after a lot of plot), open a box to reveal a pot noodle horn, my line that follows is; "cunnilingus, can i blow" - the point being that i blow on the horn, pot noodle flys everywhere and Jack is rich and lives happily ever after etc, you can imagine what the horn was exchanged for... it makes it even worse as the whole cast had told me in advance, so i had plenty of time to worry about it. ALthough I was a disappointment to many, who would have liked to have a chuckle at me carrying out my line, unfortunately for them, rob, the dame saved me, after i stood there, kneeling, and staring at it like a daft bugger, he took it from me and did the act himself, (i'm not joking, if he hadn't, the whole cast would still be on stage now) And so it ended, with a brill after show party (until 9 in the morning), and that was that (unitl the DVD!).
I will rush on now to the end of term, which ended with a debating social and then a floor 3 knees up. The debating social was good, i bought a brill red dress and heels (we had to dress up, i went as a sant type figure, i had a hat as well), and we debated and then afterwards went to jumpin' jacks, which wasnt where we'd first intended, but we got thrown out of reflex as one of our party had a N. Ireland driving license which was apparently "dodgy". So it was ok, but why half the people came i don't know, they knew it was going to include dancing, yet it was obvious that they hated dancing... basically it was ten blokes and me standing in a circle, some wearing costume (the guy to my right wore a bin bag; he was dressed as a piece of coal). SO we went back to uni hall tower after a few hours, for our floors party, only to get there and find that the rest of my floor had decided to go out in cardiff after all. SO we waited until they got back and then tried to stay up all night so that i wouldn't miss my train. I ended up having a nap at 8 in the morning, which no one woke me up properly for (although it was my fault) ending up in the awkward postion of missing my train! It wouldn't have mattered but i got one of those cheap tickets, and i'd only missed it by 4 mins. Anyway, was disappointed so was about to go to another platform when Joe (debating Joe) arrived, apparently having run all the way from my halls (a good 50 minute walk) to check that i'd made my train as he felt bad for nto having woken me up! It was surprising to say the least, but really sweet, and he waited with me while i waited an hour for the next train. ANyway, i eventually got home and saw everyone and it was great etc.
I can't go through everything i did over xmas as there was too much so;

- saw my irish relatives who now live in leeds on the weekend before xmas
- then spent loads of time with nick, and saw everyone else - had an xmas meal, i did pudding which helped make up for my abysmal presents (perhaps)
- spent xmas in manchester as usual, but most family were in ireland or newzealand
- came back and spent more time with nick and went to kings reunion
- realised that i couldnt do my essay at home
- decided to come home on the 2nd
- went dancing with my mother
- had new years at toms, was really brill, much better than previous years
- went back to cardiff on the 2nd
- spent new year with friends at toms, twas really brill
now i am back, which is boring cos no one else is, but i can't really deal with distractions anyway, i have written 694 words today, which is 100 off my target, but nevermind, i can always do more tomorrow, apart from the fact that my sleeping pattern is completely out of whack and i can't sleep until about 3 o clock.
Today i went shopping for food as well, as i have none, i also phoned nick, although whenever i phone him he always seems to be jsut about to go out, lol. Err, thats all i have done really, atm i am waiting for the rest of a desperate housewives episode to download, which is exciting (not) - it takes ages. Anyway... i am glad that i have caught up with myself, although i have probably missed out crucial bits, but i am sure that they will continue to come up, i may continue writing, opposed to blogging, although that is mroe fun, i cna do this more 'off the cuff', but i will see what happens.
I apologise for my huge amount of spelling mistakes, i was just typing quickly! Hope everyone has had a brill new year, hope to see you soon, i am back on the 19th if you are still in p'boro, see you, xx

fun times
hey guys, thought i should update you, as i haven't blogged for a while, can't remeber when i last blogged so i'll start from thursday night. Went to debating, my stalker guy was there (and obviously toerh people), we played this game and then went to the pub and played more games, it was good, then like a good girl i left to get a bus at 11:00 so that i would be home and get lots of sleep for my lecture the next day. However, i got home at the same time that chris and tom (guys that do law with me) were going to creation (random club in cardiff), so they said i should go with them, and at that precise moment the taxi came and so i ended up going and not coming back until half three in the morning. Bit knackering, and so didn't get up for my friday morning lecture, but it was only legal foundations, and it meant that i could tidy my whole room and do all my washing as jack and ed were coming down to see the fratellis. Did that, and wrote up a whole bunch of lectures etc, and then went with chris to collect them from the station, we took a while, and i ended up being half an hour late for my panto rehearsal, but people didn't seem to mind. The panto is oging to be really cool, and have noel edmunds in it (randomly), if people want to come down and see it, it is on the 5th to the 8th of december, and will be a laugh, i will put you up in my room, or if theres a lot of you, in a mixture of rooms, tickets are only £5, anyone interested, get in contact. Anyway,
So, left panto early to go and meet up with everyone to watch the gig, it was really fantastic, with everyone jumping up and down like loonies, altho i was really near the front, like the second row bakc, as soon as i have got the photos on my computer i'll stick them on here - some are really good, others are a bit naff. Gig finished, i bought a t-shirt (jack and ed had already bought t-shirts which was good, as they had been in the 'frenzy', and were literally dripping with sweat. We then went and had chips, then came home, talked, then went and played snooker, then went for a walk, then cam home and made sure ed and jack were comfortable - i have a really funny pic of them in bed; they top and tailed in an empty room. By this time it was half five, so went to bed, knackered, and the was woken up at half ten by Nick ringing. He sounded well, although not really happy, but talked to him for an hour, really looking forward to seeing him on friday.
Went back to sleep after we finshed on the phone, but was woken up by ed and jack at half one, got dressed and after more snooker we went and spent the day in town with everyone; pictures to follow, was very good though. Then at about seven we said goodbye to ed and jack and drove back home for tea. It was really weird saying goodbye to ed and jack, i have met so many people and its really weird saying goodbye to people all over again; i said i was looking forward to nick coming, and i am, but saying goodbye to him is going to be rubbish cos i wont see him for a month and a half after he leaves. It would almost be easier not seeing him, becuase then i wouldnt be reminded of how good it is with him. Even though i don't know ed and jack particularly well, i realised how much i missed people i actually know, knowing inside jokes and what people like etc... it was really strange and slightly disconserting. Anyway, matt (smith) is still here, he's seeing another friend in cardiff and at the moment everyone is on floor four, apart form me as i have panto and work to do tomorrow, so i am going to bed now, to try and get my body clock back to some normality - impossible i believe. lol, so anyway, now i am going to bed (nearly), but i am still having fun, although my foot isn't completely healed, and there is a marathon in cardiff tomorrow, so the roads are closed, and i might have to walk there and back ,which will not be good for my feet. But never mind, and i am eating so much at the moment, that a long walk will definitely not do me any harm; i am going to eat sensibly this week, or nick will come and wonder whether i have managed to consume whole supermarkets in the time i have been away, plus my budget starts on monday; argh. Lol, hope everyone is budgeting better than I!

woohoo
Exciting news; I got a part in the panto! We don't find out what our parts are until Friday, and apparently as first years we are only given small parts to se if we turn up and stuff, but i am still very excited! lol. Luckily, i didn't get into the netball team, as i have a doctors appointment at the same time (which i have to go to in an hour and a half). If anything really terrible happens i'll blog afterwards, but i think it will be okay, hopefully not long term. Err, apart from that life goes on as normal, tonight i have a social with the netball team, which sounds as though its going to be really good. I had lamb with mint sauce and mash potato for tea yesterday and it was gorgeous! Err, i think i have already told everyone the stuff i am looking forward to; bascially the fratellis, then nick coming, then my sister coming, among panto and debating.
At the moment I am having the left over lamb in a sandwhich also with mint sauce; the nicest sandwhich i have had in a long time. Ooh, and i have found a guy that really reminds me of matt benaton, not only does he have crazy similar hair and personality, but the other night at the uni bar "the banana song" came on, and he loves it aswell, lol. Anyway, I will continue to tidy my room, as i imagine when ed and jack come down at some point i might want to brag about its size etc, lol. Everyone have fun...

thought i should keep everyone up to date on my life, as i enjoy finding out about everybody elses, tomorrow i find out about the plays (i was rubbish, i don't think i have got any part, thats an honest opinion), i also find out about the netball team, the same applies, but its only for this weeks match, so i don't mind at all. My foot is still bad, i'm going to the doctors on wednesday. Err, everyone i know is still really nice, that weird stalker guy is continuing to write on my facebook wall, although he must know i have a boyfriend cos its written on there so i am thinking that i am safe, lol.
Had my first tutorial/seminar thing today, was a bit disappointing, i have never looked so much like a geek, mostly becuase i'd just bothered to read and make notes on all the reading we 'had' to do. Our tutor wasn't bothered at all though and even though these things are compulsory, he said he wouldn't report us if we didn't turn up for a couple. I did think of Andrena during it; he's italian and we were talking about the language we use in law and he said the phrase "latin is dead", lol. Yeah, so a bit disappointing, he didn't really push us, but i'm still going to work, as i still don't know all the stuff i wrote notes on, and i need good grades.
Err, can't really think of anything else to say, but i'll try and remeber to update tomorrow, when i find out about all my failures! lol. I am still having really good fun, hope everyone else is too,

Yeah, so a bit disappointing, he didn't really push us, but i'm still going to work, as i still don't know all the stuff i wrote notes on, and i need good grades.
Err, can't really think of anything else to say, but i'll try and remeber to update tomorrow, when i find out about all my failures! lol. I am still having really good fun, hope everyone else is too,
